15th Anniversary

It’s coming up fast and we’re really looking forward to celebrating the club’s 15th Anniversary over the weekend of Feb 21st-23rd (2014).

The schedule of events is shaping up nicely:

Friday evening – team and reunion dinners (being organized separately)

Friday 9pm onwards at Quinn’s 356 West 44th (upstairs) – Pub time, raffles, boat races, slideshows, awards and general catching up.  Aside from current players, family and friends, we have a number of alumni who are coming from near and far.  It’s a cash bar, so you can come by for a little or stay for a lot. They have extended Happy Hour prices all night for us, and will also be putting out some food as well. (Ironically enough, for those that came to the 10th Anniversary, this is the same venue as that Friday, fka The Irish Rogue)

Saturday morning EPL games  - we assume these will be better viewed from your respective couches or bed, for rest/recovery

Saturday 11am-1pm England v Ireland 6 Nations Rugby viewing

Where: Brass Monkey, 55 Little West 12th St.
Game time: 11am (should get there around 10am to get table space)
Cover charge: none (most bars will be charging $20 to get in, but as long as we spend at least $20 each on food and drink the entry charge will be waived)…RSVP to Drew or Yuval if you plan to go, so we can add to the reservation #’s

Saturday 2-4pm East 6th Street – Friendly game with alumni and current players (winter weather permitting) – so the field didn’t pass the Spriggy inspection – have another pint at the Rugby and then take a power nap

Saturday 5:30-8:30pm Anniversary Dinner at Brick NYC 22 Warren St, (Downstairs private room) $75 all in for 3hr beer/wine open bar and family style dinner…separate invite has been sent, with prepayment required (space is limited, significant others welcome)

Saturday 9pm onwards – another pub session (venue TBD)

Sunday recovery brunch, hair of the dog, EPL viewing (venue(s) TBD)
