The Firsts’ lost 3-0 to Manhattan Kickers on Sunday. We did not play to our ability at all and while we were admittedly far from being at full strength with several key players away and injured – and having to juggle 3 first team players pulling out on the morning of the game – that still does not excuse not reaching the level of performance we have come to expect from each other to compete in this league. Fitness levels and team shape were of particular concern.
